![]() ![]() ![]() Game does not officially support multi-GPU. Use GeDoSaTo to get maximum image quality by downsampling (set forceAlwaysDownsamplingRes to true though!) Works well if you want to play in resolutions above 1080p. (double performance with 2 R9 290 at 4K, no AA). Just set everything as you wish and in exclusive fullscreen mode, then for testing I suggest removing the 60 FPS cap as explained in the PC GAMING WIKI. Improved scaling, occasional minor microstutter (1080p)ĭefault mode" set in crossfire mode in game profile The game may crash frequently when using Mantle and Crossfire at the same time, no issues using DirectX rendererįan continuation is called Skylords Reborn Note: this game is very heavily CPU-dependent by means of IPC and multi-core performance. TAA +post processing above medium cause crossfire issues. Using AFR mode for Crossfire and capping framerate to monitor's refresh rate can smooth out performance. Tested with RX480's, able to achieve over 1p in some parts. Game is very CPU intensive, Low render distance caused by the engine, fixed in Win 10 Poor use of 6990m CF (erratic use, from 50% to 100% - 20 fps in towns on ultra settings) - the 2nd card was barely used until overclocked with AMD Overdrive Unstable use of 6990m CF (30 fps in towns on ultra settings) Rather noticeable graphical bugs and glitches present on DX12 mode, not exclusive to multi GPU Game stayed CPU bound regardless of settings, performance improvement was minor. Tested with two RX470 at 1920*1080.Create a profile and select 1X1 Optimized mode, I get average 144 FPS With all settings at low or off, except for the view distance at max. ![]() If some still exists, try lowering reflection detail. Create a profile and select AFR friendly mode, also activate V-SYNC, it gets rid of some flickering. Use "optimize 1X1" CROSSFIREX option, never use VSync in game options, maybe not use anti aliasing in game.Įngine suffers from heavy aliasing, saw-toothing and shimmering issues. Offer a complete list of video games that support AMD Crossfire. But graphically it hasn't aged very well and it didn't look all that great when it first came out. The thing about RESHADE is I only use it on older games because a lot of what it does newer games already have in the graphics settings, but in the case of Beyond Earth it's got just what is necessary to make it look better than it does.īeyond Earth is a 32-Bit game after all. The RESHADE link I provided has some instructions and the Reshade in the game when you hit the home key when you're on the map, starts out with a tutorial. so that the effects from that particular preset are applied before any of the other ones. You can even move one effect ahead of another just like in a mod manager. It's all about trial and error and it can take a while to get what you want out of it. Some are not worth bothering with and some actually are quite effective which explains how to use it properly the first time. Some of the presets are combinations, you can adjust more than one setting, some only do one thing. There's some that do the same thing, color saturation for example, sharpness, FXAA, SMAA, Contrast, Like I said before I only used three presets and it looks pretty good on my particular monitor. I waited until I explored the map a little to pick my effects and moved the sliders, some of the preset effects have sliders. When you load up the game, you can see up at the top loading screen if you were successful or not in loading Reshade, it's very simple to install, and then once you are actually on a map getting ready to play the game when you've landed on the planet you hit the HOME key and it opens up the Reshade menu and centers on the first city you have in the game. The Reshade installer asks where the game Executable file is that you want to apply reshade to, ( in other words you could use RESHADE potentially on to improve the graphics on any game you can think of, and then it offers a list of presets and check boxes for the ones you want Reshade to include. I will tell you this though since I don't know how to show you an example, I have a Benq 27 inch IPS monitor, 1440p, 2560x1440 and with this RESHADE installer, which I have used on this game in the past before, I didn't really need all that much to fix the way it looked so that I would enjoy playing it.
